FAQ
How do I know we will be a good therapist and client fit?
This is really important as research points to how vital a good relationship with your therapist is for best outcomes. Karalee is happy to offer and recommends free 15 minute phone consults to answer any questions you may have and ensure you feel comfortable moving forward or she can then refer you to another therapist if that would be a more appropriate or comfortable fit for you.
Do you take insurance?
We’re so sad to be unable to take insurance. Due to the ever increasing difficulty getting insurance to cover things we are not filing insurance.
With PRT please know that we will know if it is helping you within 6-8 sessions. If it’s not then we will refer you on and you of course can end therapy if you need to at any point.
How will I know I’m a good candidate for PRT?
So I recommend doing a free fifteen minute phone consultation to ensure you’re a good fit for PRT. That being said if you have been told by health professionals that you have chronic pain I believe PRT will be a great next step for you! Also know that PRT is great for clients who’ve tried ‘everything’ and who are ready to try something new and are ready to try something completely different to address chronic pain.
Do you only work with Chronic Pain or Chronic Illness clients?
No I’m happy to see clients with other presenting struggles. I’m also happy to work with family members of those who are dealing with chronic pain and or chronic illness as there are so many challenges and pain to see your loved one suffering. Please give me a call and we can set up a free fifteen minute consultation to make sure we’re a good fit.
Karalee R Drummond is the founder of All Will Be Well Counseling PLLC, a phrase from one of her favorite meditations. It is a hope, a dream, a prayer for all to be well for everyone. She attended Southern Adventist University where she graduated suma cum laude with her BSW. She also was awarded the NASW BSW student of the year for that chapter of the NASW. She completed her MSW at Western Carolina University. She then began working as a school based therapist with ages ranging from elementary school to early college students where she helped start that program. She worked on court ordered multi disciplinary evaluations. She focused on trauma informed practices, cognitive behavioral principals, psychoeducation, family work, mediation, creative work modalities, and other interventions. Personally, she developed a chronic illness as a teenager that took almost a decade to be accurately diagnosed. As her symptoms progressed, she developed chronic pain. She ultimately had to take a break as an LCSW to focus on her health. Now with improved health she is excited to help others in the population dealing with chronic pain and chronic illness. She couples her own personal journey with her clinical background and deep compassion for this often underserved and inadequately supported group who suffers so much. In addition she has been trained in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) and is thrilled about how research is supporting this modality as well as helping her chronic pain. Karalee is so passionate about helping those who are hurting not just manage pain but actually get better and learn to thrive again.
